Project: UCSC EZ-ride
The goal of EZ-Ride is to create a carpool system for UCSC students to be picked up at convenient locations in Santa Cruz. The system works by having students with on campus parking passes fill their cars with carpoolers and then receive priority parking in the North Remote parking lot.

I like this one a lot. I thought the earlier discussion among the class linked to on the workspace, i.e.

was very lively, and had lots of intelligent points, and lots of enthusiasm, and made it very clear that there's a good chance the team could make this happen.
I think it does indeed really need preferred parking for carpoolers to make it popular enough to fly, so I hope you can work that out with the university.

I like this one a lot too. It seems doable, measurable, and would make a difference.

What is your cost per acquisition to get people to sign up for the program? Thnx. (ie, flyers, student paper ads, etc)
