I am sorry to see this happen. I came here because it was the only site I could find that had a human trafficking discussion. While that turned out not to be the reason I stayed, it still is the only place with such a discussion

There are reasons that not that many folks come here, that Skoll has struggled with their forums, and that social topics on myspace facebook zaads etc are all a bunch of noise and not really worth the time.

I think that despite all the press and hype, there are very few people interested in social entrepreneurialism and fewer still that actual do it. For some reason the fact that this site was small and difficult to use helped keep it useful since it created a great forum for a core group of folks that clearly wanted to help each other out and learn from each other. I hope to stay in touch with that group. My personal preference would be not to attempt to split up into separate topic areas as I have seen absolutely no evidence that works elsewhere. So I hope this core group moves somewhere else.
