What is the Group Browser Page?
The group browser page provides access to discover all the groups that have been created on omidyar.net.
The default view for the group browser is a list of categories (the same list you see in the right hand column on the home page of omidyar.net.) Within each category is a list of groups created by members like you. You can pick a category name and click on it to drill down to see what's within. Since group owners can list their group in several different categories at once, you may see the same group appear in more than one place. Sometimes you will not be able to find groups on omidyar.net as the group owner did not associate their group with any of the categories in the groups menu.
What do the tabs on the Group Browser Page bar lead to?
| most active: | A list of all groups active in the last 3 days. |

| new groups: | A list of groups formed and sponsored in the last week, as well as pending groups awaiting a sponsor. |
| all: | An alphabetical list of all groups. Does not include groups still awaiting a sponsor. |
What does the tools link lead to?

| Opens a form to create a new group. Creating a group simply adds it to the Pending Groups list so that additional co-sponsors may be acquired. Full instructions for creating a group are provided on the page. | |
Warning: Carefully consider how you set up your group so that it is able to be located using the groups map. This means that you need to associate with a group in the menu. If you are hiding your group, don't worry about it!
