History

Time is a resource - eternally abundant, yet perceived in our changing world to be in increasingly short supply. Especially when information about important stuff doesn't reach us in time.

I'd originally set up this groupspace to discuss the use of time on Onet, but had actually thought at the time that ONTime would be a cool name for a newsletter. Why not a notification system? Perhaps an Onet community notification system can help us make better use of our time here... Opt-in, of course!

In reviewing this page, it occurred to me that I'd feel much more comfortable if the list under construction were housed in a place where visitors who are not signed in cannot see it. I would like to propose this still empty group space for that purpose. I've changed the settings so that visitors not signed in have no access, and have started a thread so others with more insight than I can discuss how the rest of the settings should be set.

It might also be useful to think of this space as a place for developing the actual messages and procedures by which the community will sanction using the list.

I am merely tossing this out for the community's consideration ~ any who wish to become owners, hash it out over how this might work for your current endeavors, or give a hand with an edit to this group's home page, please jump in and do so.
