sorry to post a breakfast club info on peace tiles. The internet is difficult here.

I guess the title is what was missing from the peace tiles I had looked at. The Titles should be put on when the tile is completed. I love the Peacetiles. I am planning an event for a Saturday when the children can make peace tiles. I need supplies such as magazines and pictures for the children to use. I will continue seeking all that i need.

Kevin, good luck with your workshop - I am sure it will be alot of fun for you and the participants - and you'll be surrounded by lots of talent and support at LiA!

Do we want to load the peace tiles up on Peace Tiles Projects site? I do not really understand what we are to do with them. People sponsor a child and recieve a peace tile from that kid. But would it be a good idea to upload some peace tiles on to their site. That way people could exchange the peace tiles and hear stories also.http://www.telecommunity.us/peacetiles/

Hi Kevin - we won't be making any peacetiles 4 school until we've got our kids sponsored. Meanwhile yes, one of the things we'd talked about when you were in Kampala was connecting the kids with the peacetiles website.

Just wanted to let you all know, the peace tiles that were created during the June 2 benefit at Crescenta Valley High School are on display in the main hallway at the school. Last day of school is next Wednesday, so the tiles will be on their way to Gulu next week!
