Hey everyone! Just back from LA where I saw Evonne. Michael O'Keefe had a big book party at his house... had over 100 people in the course of the evening. So fun to see Evonne and Brent.

I've added folks to the host committee who agreed to have their names listed. I'll send something out soon that can be easily emailed to folks, but go ahead and tell people on o.net to come to this thread if you want.

What are folks interested/willing to do to get the word out? Again, while we have an o.net host committee, we can recruit friends and others beyond o.net (may even be a great way to get some new people involved).

Also, I agree that it would be worth having more deliberate omidyar.net community outreach. What do you think would work best? Is there away to find & PM everyone on O.net who is in the Bay Area?

Just found someone who may do a big tactile collage... where people participate putting scraps of fabric and other things on a collage (using only their sense of touch). Fun. Anyone want to volunteer a little bit on an art project like this (or other one)? Just let me know. It will be a fun way to engage during the evening!
