Born and raised in Harlem, NYC, I am the Head of School at The Ricardo O'Gorman Garden, a tuition-free, private pre-school thru 3rd grade on 129th street. We recieve no state or city funding. We are 33 beautiful, brilliant children strong, of all races, colors and backgrounds. Our mission: To Heal, to Educate and to Liberate our children and their families. We do no prior testing, rather we accept children as they come to us. We serve as a center where our children and their families can help themselves achieve their social aspirations through love, rigor, order, intelligence and dialogue. Our curriculum is dazzling in it's breadth. We give the children private school education at no cost to their families and we yearly graduate several children into the finest private schools in NYC.
