I am a lifelong entrepreneur based in Denver, Colorado. My specialty for fifteen years was in media design, ranging from newsletter publishing in the mid-80s, through the dotcom ride into the end of the millenium. Since 2000, I have primarily been a consultant in new media architecture, having founded Think Tank West. My primary area of interest has been in developing and supporting emerging community from a evolutionary media mindset.

In Janury of 2004, I co-founded my first socially-based endeavor, Targeted Currencies Network (don't miss our workspace . Coming together with a fascinating group of people, we have built an open-company framework that supports our endeavor of providing design services and software support for the field of targeted complementary currencies. Our company seeks to transcend the space between non-profit and for-profit, creating a higher common ground. Currently, we operate as an LLC, for it gives us the most operational flexibility. We expect to funnel profits to a foundation that will distribute them to communities that need support in developing their currencies.

My interests are broad, and my ongoing study has integrated key teachings from sociology, information theory, evolutionary physics, media, alternate monetary theory, systems thinking and ecology, along with a healthy dose of taoism, for perspective. Most recently, this study, when combined with the recognition of what sociologist Paul Ray identifies as Cultural Creatives, led me to believe in a massive cultural shift that is changing the world in ways unseen by the traditional markets.
