About

Started out as college professor trained in English Lit, Psychology, and Philosophy. Have been in financial services for the last 22 years. Serve as Chief of Staff and Charitable Cheerleader for a division of a large financial services firm. http://www.thenautilusgroup.com. Blog at http://www.gifthub.org. Moderate The World We Want at http://giving.typepad.com/theworldwewant/. Volunteer for Dallas Social Venture Partners. http://www.dsvp.org. Also volunteer for Tracy Gary's Inspire Legacies at http://www.inspiredlegacies.com. Am past President of the Dallas Council of the National Committee on Planned Giving. I am working to create an open network of funders, advisors, and active citizens to reinvigorate the conversations of democracy.

Married; wife teaches High School English; two kids, one in college, one a recent grad. Outside interest is Augustan Satire - a dangerous hobby.
