Dear family and friends

OKAY! We need help! We are going to lose our house IF we cannot come up with $3800.00 dollars in a week to ten days and another $2000.00 by July 31st.

We have been struggling successfully with our bankruptcy for two-and-a-half years and will finish it completely by November of this year. In February, we were blindsided by a conditional order allowing our mortgage company to collect all of our arrears in addition to our bankruptcy payments. We paid nearly $2500.00 extra in March, April, and May, but were unable to pay the June payment which was due at the end of the month.

This is the lowest point of our financial situation. When we are able to pay this conditional order, we will have no outstanding debt, except our school loans and five more months of bankruptcy payments. Until the surprising February order, we thought we were slowly climbing back to solvency. Together, we have tried everything. We can only survive this difficult period with your help.

We are not asking for handouts. We are asking for loans, which we know we can repay: Despite a fire, a flood, and bankruptcy payments, we were able to save almost $6000.00 dollars last year, which was eaten up by the March, April and May payments on the conditional order. Beginning in October, we will be able to pay back $300.00 to $500.00 dollars each month.

We are not lazy and we are not frivolous. We can pay and we will. I am sending this to those I consider MY Onet family. Everyone on this list is someone to whom Amanda and I would gladly give money. By sending this request to many people, we are hoping not to cause a hardship for those who help.

Please lend us what you can. We really need your help. We will keep track of what you send us and we will pay back every penny, once we save our house.

Thank you for your patience and assistance. May you continue to have peace and success in all that you do. Thanks again.

RicH and Amanda

RicH, have you exhausted every legal way? maybe go down to your congressman's office and ask to speak to a caseworker, they might have ways to intervien with the process temporarily

According to our lawyer the new bankruptcy laws are pretty tight. We have pretty much exhausted everything and are now on a stay, which is what will be vacated soon.

RicH, I'm not suggesting that, I'm suggesting the the congressman's office might know of some temporary fix, a way to extend the time, or an emergency fund, etc. they get bombarded with all the new info daily, a lawyer doesn't

I would suggest that you contact the administrator for your case, present all of the positive things you've done, ie. payments etc... and ask him to set aside the previous ruling that was sprung upon you.

As Brad said, "lawyers don't know everything" screw him.

Aloha,

Second, for any o/net members, if you purchase any 100% Kona coffee from me, I grow it, and sell it, I will DONATE 100% of the profit after my growing and processing cost to Richard thru this time period.

You will also have to pay for shipping, in the US I use Priority Mail. One pound ships for about $5. I can ship 6 pounds for $9 flat rate.

It costs me $7 per pound to produce one pound of roasted 100% Kona coffee. This is pretty much the same for every farmer.

So you want to help Richard, send him some money. You want to help him further buy some of my coffee and I'll send him more money too!

Oh, I forgot, http//:www.princessradhafarm.com

Mahalo,

Love RicHie

Edited because I forgot to thank the coffee pirate!

dear RicH,

bravo for asking! now keep asking like brad suggested, it is the only way we have survived for five years.

i know it is not the same as bankruptcy, but when i lost my job, i withheld my self-employment taxes. the gov't put a hold on payments, until i started working again, and then ONLY BECAUSE I KNEW TO ASK, made a one time wave of all penalties and interest.

the trick is to bug as many people as posible, and keep them on the phone with small talk for at least five-ten minutes, and THEN suddenly you will get that crucial bit of information that might be your loophole.

love

dafna

I'm not looking for a loophole. I'm pretty happy with my lawyer. The system sucks, but I am the child of poverty; I knew the game was rigged when I sat down. I'm okay for that because I ain't looking for an honest table either. My planet hasn't been taught what an honest game looks like yet.

We're all working on helping THEM to see what an honest game, a compassionate, loving, generous society, looks like though, especially, and including you, Dear Dafna.

The first of our outstanding arrears was paid today. Some of my adopted family sent cash, and scoldings for not asking sooner. THEY still cannot understand that I asked as soon as I could. Asking is fucking hard.

Thankx for your tip, Babydoll. I'll use it when I need it.

Love to you, RicH

Okay, that's some pricey coffee - 4lbs will do for now, though I'm glad to have Princess Radha as a resource. Thank you, Page! And good luck, Rich. I'll see what else I can scrape together. I might get paid for a website tomorrow...

Thank you both. Lars, the coffee seems pricey, but it is really good. Better than Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, though I did have to cut it with some Chock-Full-of-Nuts. I like a mellower cup of very strong coffee.

That reminds me: MY Missus made me a peach pie!

Thanks Lars, I received the order. If it's ok with you we're roasting a fresh batch of coffee tomorrow and I'll ship your order on Wednesday.

100% Kona coffee is the, arguably world's best coffee. Actually our prices are a little lower than many farmers that sell direct. The reason being is that we just purchased our farm last year and did not inherit any customers from the previous owner. Kona coffee farmers pay their workers better than minimum wage. Coffee workers in other countries get paid pennies an hour. When picking the coffee cherry our pickers can make $15-20 per hour, their paid by the pound.

Once you try our Kona coffee you will be spoiled. 100% Kona coffee is sweet, fruity, chocolaty, rich and full flavored. I normally use an 8 cup drip pot to make our morning coffee. I grind it fresh just before brewing and use 25 grams of beans for an 8 cup pot. 25 grams of beans will fill a measuring cup to the 1/3 cup level. So if you use a larger pot just adjust the amount of beans.

We also use a French Press from time to time and that truly brings out the flavors. I'm not certain why Richard thought Kona coffee was so strong. I remember when I sent him a couple of pounds that it was a medium roast. Any degree of roast darker than a medium roast usually destroys the unique attributes of any coffee. Perhaps Richard had neve had the good stuff before. ;^)

On the subject of price, if you really want to contribute to Richard, I might be able to arrange something like the Indonesians do. You see this Indonesian coffee is the most expensive in the world, $160 per pound the last I heard. The coffee cherry is eaten by a rodent called a civet I think. The civet only digests the skin covering the bean. Then the farmers go around and collect the civet droppings and sort out the coffee beans which are then processed and roasted. And they get $160 per pound! Now if you want to start placing orders for some Kona coffee processed like this I will see how many coffee beans I can eat. ;^)

Thank you for helping Richard out.

Mahalo,

Page

Oops, I forgot, now I have to explain all of this to the boss, my lovely wife.

dear RicH,

the "loophole" i was suggesting is "time". it sounded like that is what you need/want the most. an extension to pay your debt.

that is what i received, through the help of my attorney at legal aid.

if it helps any, i know how hard it was for you to ask, it does not surprise me in the least that you hung tuff for so long. get over it, and keep asking, people want to help - sometimes the most help comes from the least expected places (strangers on the other end of the phone).

i am not just tryng to help others, i am trying to help myself and my son also. brad just surprised me one day and set up a chipin for us.

sometimes the bravest thing we can do is show our weakness.

signing off, dafna

I have been spamming elsewhere about your business, Page. I have emailed a whole buncha people. Gonna email as many as I can think of.

I hope that you have a lot of orders in the next few days.

Thank you so much Debbie. Your order will ship tomorrow as well.

Oh, we are also training our dog to eat the coffee cherry without chewing up the beans. So if someone wants some canine Kona coffee we can supply it!
