Am the program manager of Rural Agency for Development(Rafode).The organization has a program of microfinance where we are assisting poor families in the slums and rural areas by helping them to start income generating projects and bringing them up to the level where they can be able to save for there future and borrow and repay the loans.We are targeting those people who are not in business and those who do small business of capital not exceeding $5 dollers.

We are also working with the Young men in Western Kenya who are doing business oof transporting people using biscle know here as BODA BODA,we are developing a savings facility to enable them save and borrow as currently there is no organization targeting them. We plan to reach out to 5000 of this group in the next two years.

Rafode is commited to working with all other vulnerable groups and products or services are introduced depending on the need of the market.We aim to be fully involved in this microfinance activity and target all the vulnerable communities.Therefore we are looking for partners to help us achieve this goal.

I have over 8 years experience in development work having worked for Care international for over seven years and risen upto project manager, i have been trained my micro save in microfinance and product development and marketing, trained by world Bank on poverty alleviation and microfinance and i ahave also attended several courses in the microfinance sector.
