Brief Bio
My interests include social and human transformation. I'm the mother of a 22 year old daugher named Ruby, who made me a grandma on July 11, 2005 (welcome Phoenix). My husband Dave and I love rock hounding, gardening and being with friends and community. We live in the sagebrush steppes of Northeastern Nevada with Mickey the dog, Wumpus the cat and our visiting artist friend Ron.
For the last 18 years I've worked as a youth motivational speaker. Authored a peer-mentoring curriculum, produced an award winning video and hold a masters degree in psychology, communications, health and 2ndary education. My current focus is engaging youth and adults in social action. In 1999 I was awarded two fellowships that changed my life refocused my work in this world. For more see my vita.
