Where to start…. Well, as of the end of January 2006 my life has changed. I have left behind 17 years on “Wall Street” to run the business and business development elements of The Emancipation Network. see www.madebysurvivors.com My wife Sarah and I founded TEN and so far Sarah has been running it with a group of volunteers while I worked on it at night. Sarah will be in charge of running the non-profit part of TEN and working with our NGOs.
AS TEN has been more successful than we forecast we reached the point where we either had to scale it back or just risk it all and go for it. I suppose I could have said go for broke as we have not been able to sell our house which was a big part of our financing strategy – oh well.
You can learn more at http://www.omidyar.net/group/ten /news/.
If you are interested in fighting trafficking, please consider hosting one of our awareness events. Its really easy, we send you everything you need and if we don’t have an Ambassador in your area we assign one to talk you through it.
