BS degrees in physics and chemistry, BA degree in philosophy, MS degree in materials science, PhD in physics, 20 years at Bell Labs. Currently at a physical sciences think tank north of Boston, MA
Current research involves computing Lyapunov exponents for growing complex networks, applicatoins of phononic crystals for acoustic signal processing, exploiting the physics of materials for computation and artificial intelligence applications to database mining.
Interests are in Buddhism, yoga, evolution theory, complex systems.
I live in New Hampshire with my wife Suzanne. She is a NH State Representative (D).
