I'm now in my final year of my Environmental Sciences degree at the University of East Anglia, UK. I spent last year studying International/Development Studies at the University of Oregon, USA. I've also travelled to Namibia, Kenya, Indonesia, Mexico and around Europe.
Last year I got involved with the Pachamama Alliance (http://www.pachamama.org) and their paradigm shifting Symposium on issues of environmental sustainability, social justice and spiritual fulfillment. To date, with a little help from my friends, we've hosted 2 Symposia here in Norwich in collaboration with Be The Change (http://www.bethechange.org.uk/). I'll soon be trained to present the Symposium myself with 1-2 other facilitators so I'm looking forward to that next step.
The plans for my future seem to change each time I learn something new. I'm pretty much set on a PhD in Sustainable Entrepreneurship and an MRes in Sustainability (Environment, Business and Corporate Resposibility) depending on whther I'm successful in securing my funding!
It feels like I'm at the stage of emerging from my formal education into the world I've heard so much about! As well as continuing my education under my own steam it feels like there's a diverse range of skills and experience I now need to gain to enable me to achieve the goals I dare to imagine!
