I joined Omidyar Network in April of this year (2007). I've been happy to support the Community Management Team, and can say from first hand experience that Thomas and Haney are a joy to work with.

Born in Colorado, I became a San Francisco Bay Area local at the age of 12. In recent years I've taken to spending my free time in the Aquitaine region of France, where I taught English conversation to high school students for 6 months.

My interests include community development, working with children and youth, linguistics and language, and alternative health. Prior to Omidyar Network I worked at the Mental Health Association of San Mateo County (also in Redwood City), a nonprofit that provides housing, case management and peer support programs for adults with severe mental illness.
