I am from the Netherlands, that's a small country in Europe, you may have heard stories about our windmills and clogs or the tulips. I am 50 years old and I still have 75 years to go. Yes, I want to live to be 125 years old - because there is to much in this world that I have not seen yet, or heard of. As you know, our native lingo is Dutch, and my mothertongue is Fries, Frisian to you - as in beautifull black horses and black and white cows. Frisian people are a cross between Saxon and Viking, friendly, open minded, easy ones you know them, and ready to help someone in need. It's the hills you see, the mounts that they had to build to keep houses and cattle safe from the Northsea. Anna

(It is pre-Katrina, and very educational. Plus it could be directional for the future of Louisiana.)
The interview with the President of Parish, Aaron Broussard, is available on http://www.ajvandeaak.nl/ under the link Killer Katrina
Soon to be back online.
I am asking for the attention to a website in flash, that shows the contrast of our Western world, compared to the Africans worst hit population. A very gripping show and tell, and I don't think anyone has a problem understanding the the few words in Arabic, they are explained in words.

I have never enjoyed American Trash Television more then when I started watching the Extreme Home Makeover programs. Sometimes I was compelled to join in. One of the episodes that had my attention was when the story of Megan was depicted. She was kidnapped and her family was waiting her return. Her mother, Coleen, started a project to help other families bring home their lost child, and you can learn about it at this site:
