I've been working on systems for participatory democracy since 1999. My research originated in the academic study of media and public discourse technology and has evolved to implementation of online tools to offline practical decision-making methods for communities and organizations.

My current focus is on demonstrating and improving a deliberative democracy process called Advanced Dotmocracy (http://www.dotmocracy.org).

I consult, present at conferences and conduct training workshops.
