I'm the founder of Sudan Relief and Development, Inc. (SRD), a small educational/humanitarian nonprofit organization working to help Sudanese in south Sudan rebuild their country. I've been going back and forth to Sudan for the last 3 1/2 years and am very excited to be working with such incredible people. We've drilled a well for the village of Kaya, helped start a microeconomic development program in Equatoria that should disperse its first funds this fall/winter, and are partnering with the Nasir Community Development Agency (NCDA), a Sudanese organization, to build schools in the Upper Nile.
I live in Nashville and have been married for almost 30 wonderful years. I have two children and two precious granddaughters. I'm currently enrolled to get my Master's degree in teaching.
