About

My journey through adulthood has taken me on two disparate paths. One has been creative and turbulent; the other has been professional and disciplined.

  1. What am I good at?
  1. I am good at making the invisible - visible.

I can assist in defining and articulating an organization's real story. When the organization's story is properly identified and expressed it releases the constructive energy and creativity of the whole team. Individuals come to understand their role in the story and feel connected to a larger purpose. In this way "the story" is like a country's culture. A national culture helps connect people to a larger purpose and helps give identity to the individual citizen.

As an extension of my story telling abilities I can produce content in all media platforms. Having worked in theatre, film, radio, television and the Web for over two decades, I am conversant with the strength and limits of each medium. Right now I am fascinated with the idea of distributing industry-specific radio programs through corporate Intranets - the last virgin audience is not connected to the Internet, it is attached to Intranets. Corporate Intranet networks are like local television stations from the 1950s.

For the last seven years - during and after the Bubble - I tried to maintain a philosophical focus. Rather than focusing on wealth creation, I have focused on building my personal beliefs, my integrity and my heart. My goal was to become more fully human and to become - the best version of myself I could be.

  1. What do I do to improve myself?
  1. I try to live my personal philosophy.

Here is my philosophy in a nutshell:

  1. Give first, before you expect to receive
  2. Love first and accept the love that may be given to you
  3. I am here to help
  4. I believe in a divine power much greater than me and one I can't understand
  5. There is more here than meets the eye. There is more hear than meets the ear. Therefore we must think with our hearts

Here are two exercises I use to stay close to my life philosophy:

  • I take a long walk in the morning and at night and think about life and what gives me life
  • I talk with children whenever I can
