Big-picture/longterm project: establish a for-profit investment fund to re-invest in nonprofit earned income ventures. /newsocialenterprises/socentinve stfund. The fund's business model combines with elearning and knowledge management.

10 years experience providing feasibility analysis, business planning, and legal services for for-profit and nonprofit entrepreneurs.

In solo private practice since 2002, areas of concentration: market research & analysis, financial projection, UBTI analysis, business entity choice, formation, and structural relationship between nonprofit parent and earned income venture, contracts, alternative financing for nonprofit ventures.

As Executive Director, Ohio Foundation for Entrepreneurial Education, 1996-2002, I prepared OFEE’s business plan, built OFEE from the ground up, and established a social entrepreneur business model (42% earned income/tuition supported).

As educator, I serve as adjunct instructor, business law & business ethics, online & face-to-face, associate’s and bachelor’s level. I develop and deliver custom social entrepreneurship programs for nonprofit clients around the country.

Founding Vice Chair, Social Enterprise Alliance; former member small business loan review panels for the City of Columbus, Ohio, and Community Capital Development Corporation.

Owned several small businesses in the professional services, consumer services, and education industries. Managerial/administrative positions in small businesses in the education, retail, and manufacturing industries.

Ph.D. Education Administration, J.D., the Ohio State University. 4th Degree Black Belt, TaeKwonDo martial arts. Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, 2000.
