  • Semi-Retired College Professor in Political Communication and Rhetoric
  • Director of the Center for Arts & Public Policy in Detroit, Michigan (http://www.capp-wsu.org). CAPP is the research partner for the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.
  • I am especially interested in the nature and use of language (rhetoric) and its application in public policy, political campaigns and social movments.
  • My specialty is the relationship betweeen ideology (political positioin of radical, liberal, conservative and reactionary) and language choice.
