Jean is one of the most generous people I know. She just listened to me complain about my life for an hour, and she coached me to let go of a belief that wasn't serving me.

Ok, I'll tell you what the belief was, if you promise not to judge. I was believing (without really questioning the reasonableness of it) that I screw everything up. No wonder I wasn't super motivated!

Anyway, after the phone call I'm a new man. I'm back in action and feeling like I'm headed toward excitement and adventure again.

Yea!

Thanks, Jean :)

Awesome!

I find it so facinating how a hangup like this can hold us back, and at the same time how we can act totally contrary to the hangup. I keep describing David as a person that refuses to concede anything to the excuses.

So, great work David and Jean! Rock on!

Yeah, what always blows me away is discovering that I've been believing something about myself or about a whole class of people that I figured out when I was 5 years old or something like that.

So at age 5 we come to some conclusion and then never seriously question it again, until someone gives us the space to really blurt out our ugly beliefs and look at them.

Here is an interesting page with a list of some organisations I really like plus a few I don't know:

So surprising to see this, David. I would never have guessed that of you.

Good for Jean! Good for you.

Partly it's due to tax time.

Jean changed my life with simple insight. It's a rare gift she shares with us and I'm very grateful for her presence here as a clear mirror and honest friend. None of us are perfect, but you David have never struck me as someone who screws things up....quite the contrary, from everything I've seen from this distance you seem to be an innovative fixer and connector of ideas.

Thanks Evonne,

I do like to think of myself as innovative and a fixer and connector of ideas. Ah, I will just bask in that for a while... :)

Wow! Thank you!!! Oh my goddess!! I can't believe I didn't see this here. See what happens when you don't get past your own nose, you don't see what wonderful things people are saying about you!

David I am so glad we were able to open that up for you! That was a terrifically fun call! Can we use your statement here as a testimonial? ;-)

And thank you dear Evonne for your wonderful words, appreciation, and generosity. Thank the goddess we can mirror each other and create upward spirals of love.

Reminds of the famous speech by Nelson Mandela in which he points out that it is an unwillingness to accept that we can accomplish great things that often presents the greatest barrier.

Nurturing is important.

Appreciation is important.

The vision to go forward and leave behind our doubts provides the opportunity to achieve...and, together we can provide and present more than we ever could individually.
