My names are Atukunda Rosette, a female Ugandan. I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Economics of Makerere University Kampala.

Prevoiusly,i have worked with with Uganda Microfinance Limited (UML) as a Senior Loans Officer. I joined that institution in the year 2000 as Assistant Field Officer.

In November 2006, i retired so as to create enough time to concentrate on my research for MBA. Right now,im trying to start a Non Governmental Organisation called UWEC(Uganda Women Empowerment through Crafts) based here in Kampala. I hope with UWEC, many women will be empowered and this will not only make them stand on their own but also earn a living since UWEC's aim is to equip them with the necessary skills.

My sincere thanks go to all those who have tried and are still trying to make UWEC grow.
