I am a husband, and I am a father of a beautiful girl (10) and a beautiful boy (3). I have been working with at-risk children and their families, doing family preservation work in cases where there has been some kind of child abuse. I have an interest in the juvenile justice system and in changing the injustice that permeates it. I was born in the U.S. but grew up in Mexico. I am a strong believer in the power of simple, human relationships to bring about positive change.

I believe it is our responsibility to act on the most urgent crisis in the world, the genocide in the Darfur region of Sudan.
