My wife, Lisa, and I both grew up in the Monterey Bay Area and have lived in the "other" Bay Area for the past 11 years. I am also a proud parent of a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old.
I love working with children and am a former Lucile Packard Children's Hospital volunteer in their bedside reader program, and have served as a youth basketball coach for the city of Pacific Grove, and the YMCA of Cupertino.
Interests: Literature, basketball, golf (though I play in constant fear that my personal liability insurance won't be sufficient to cover for all my errant golf shots).
Favorite Movie: Roman Holiday
Favorite Book: "To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee
Currently Reading: "Born on a Blue Day" by Daniel Tammet
Quotables:
"When evaluating people, look for the following qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. If they lack the first characteristic, then you’re really hoping that they’re both dumb and lazy.”
—Warren Buffett
"To be conscious that you are ignorant of the facts is a great step to knowledge.”
—Benjamin Disraeli
"I think that we have an instinct, an impulse to improve our world. And I think that sentiment is quite universal."
—Jonas Salk
