Am a kenyan,an african lady shocked by the widening gap between the poor and the rich nations!Why?Selfishness?

Take this as an example:- An african woman carrying a child breastfeeding on empty breasts in search of water and food while no shelter nor security.When the same woman weaves a basket, to sell inorder to feed/educate/cloth her chilren, the same basket is bought by the rich white at less than $ 1USD and later sells it over 20 US Dollar to another rich.Hence the poor becomes poorer and the rich becomes richer.Instead, what if you allowed/marketed these african produce to the developed nations?
